Obituary
Waterbury- Ms Sandra Ann Welsh, 59, died Monday, October 11, at St. Mary's Hospital.
Sandra was born September 8, 1951 in Waterbury daughter of the late John D. and Leontine "Nancy" (Boisvert) Welsh, Sr. A lifelong resident of Waterbury, Sandra was a graduate of Notre Dame Academy and had been employed in the medical records department of St. Mary's Hospital for many years until becoming disabled. She enjoyed singing, dancing and acting, in her youth she had participated in many summer plays with the Waterbury Park Department.
She is survived by her Aunt, Hortense B. Salerno of Waterbury; two uncles, Camille Boisvert and his wife Cecile of Watertown and Francois Boisvert and his wife Mariette of Quebec, Canada and many cousins. She was predeceased by her brother, John D. Welsh, Jr.
Arrangements: A mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 16, at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Burial of cremains will follow in Calvary Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury.
