Obituary
Waterbury- Sharon M. Boivin, 62, of Woodglen Dr. died Sunday, February 28, 2010 at her home. Sharon was born in Portland, Maine on March 8, 1947 to the late, Arnold and Louise (Nickerson) Richards.
Sharon attended schools in Waterbury and then worked for 25 years as a machine operator at Mattatuck Manufacturing. She enjoyed playing Bingo and spending time with her friends. She was a member of the Franco American Club.
She is survived by two sons; Kevin Boivin of Oakville, Ronald Bovin Jr. of Maine, a daughter, Pamela Leach of Waterbury, two sisters, Deborah Ferrari of Waterbury, Nancy Tapley of PA, a brother, Leonard Polletta of Waterbury, a dear friend Ronald Boivin Sr. of Oakville, two stepdaughters, Victoria and Becky Mattos of Waterbury, four grandchildren, LaShaya Gatline, Regine` Clark, Sanaa Leach, Theresa Boivin and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by brother and sisters, John Polletta, Val Breen, Cynthia Saugeau, Peter Boyce, Patricia Patronelli, a longtime friend Edward Mattos and her stepfather Peter Polletta.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, March 2, at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury, from 5:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. with a funeral service to be held at 7:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
