Waterbury – Sharon L. Knight, 54, passed away on Wednesday, August 4, in Southington as the result of a motor vehicle accident. Sharon was born September 2, 1966 in Middletown, CT, daughter of the late Pete and Clementine (Cuttino) Vereen. She was married to Earl Knight Sr of Waterbury, CT. Sharon is survived by her children, Shaquenda E. Knight of Waterbury, Earl S. Knight Jr of New Britain, Maurice P. Knight of New Haven and Makya D. Knight of New Britain; her brother, Kelvin L. Vereen of AZ; her four sisters, Deborah M. Ahmed of NC, Gloria N. Ford of NC, Shayna Vereen of CT and Relisha Gibson of NY; her grandchildren, Kai'lynn Knight Velasquez, India Rogers, Kamya Franklin, Kimora Franklin, King Knight and Christopher Rogers Jr; her longtime companion, Kelvin Riddle Sr and many nieces, nephews and friends. Calling hours will be held on Friday morning August 13 from 9:00 am-10:00 am at the Grace Baptist Church, 65 Kingsbury St Waterbury, CT. A funeral service will follow at the same location.
