Naugatuck – Mrs. Shirley M. (Campbell) Lemoine, 87, formerly of Waterbury, passed away on Wednesday evening, October 26, at the Waterbury Hospital.
Shirley was born August 14, 1929 in Worcester, MA, daughter of the late Charles and Ottabelle Campbell. She moved to Waterbury 60 years ago and has lived in Naugatuck for the past 16 years. She was a member of St. John's Parish in Waterbury. She will be remembered for her love of reading, crocheting and crosswords puzzles. She was an avid sports fan and would watch any sporting event on TV, but especially enjoyed watching the UCONN Women's basketball team.
She is survived by two daughters, Allyn Campbell of Waterbury and Lorrie Ann Gordon of Wolcott; four sons, Terrell "Terry" Gallion of Waterbury, Henry W. Gallion of Waterbury, Harry A. Wrigley, Jr of Winsted and Joseph R. Wrigley of Waterbury; one cousin, Daniel E. Taft of VT; 15 grandchildren and 29 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her son, Charles Campbell and her longtime companion, Harry A. Wrigley, Sr.
