Mrs Sofi O'Bryan's Obituary
Waterbury – Sofi (Kondos) O'Bryan, 97, of Waterbury, passed away peacefully on Monday morning, February 22, 2016. She was the widow of Mr. James William O'Bryan.
Sofi was born on December 11, 1918 in East Moline, IL, daughter of the late Mike and Demetroula (Petrakos) Kondos. Sofi was a longtime writer of romance novels and short stories and was an avid reader.
She is survived by her children, Maggie O'Bryan-Seidman of New York City, and Michael J. O'Bryan of Waterbury; 4 grandchildren, Jamie Molluzzo of Closter, NJ, Jennifer Seidman of New York City, Ashley O'Bryan, and Matthew O'Bryan; and 4 great-grandchildren, George, Hal, Skyler, and Isabella; and her older sister, Mary Velon.
All funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family.
