Waterbury - Sonia Mercado, 57, passed away on Friday, December 4, 2020 at Waterbury Hospital. Sonia was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 31, 1962, daughter of David Mercado and Ada Luz Figueroa. Sonia leaves behind her children, Daniel Maldonado Mercado; Michelle Maldonado Mercado; Vanessa Maldonado Mercado; Rosaly Maldonado Mercado; and Barbara Maldonado Mercado; her siblings, Ricardo Mercado; Arnold Mercado; Maribel Mercado; David Mercado; Miriam Santiago; Wilfredo Santiago; and Edward Santiago; and many other beloved family and friends. Services for Sonia will be held privately.
