Waterbury – Susan J. Leary, 64, of Waterbury passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 17, 2019 at Regal Care in Torrington. Susan was born on March 1, 1955 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Joseph and Lillian (Madec) Leary. Susan cherished the time she was able to spend with her loving family and friends. She will be missed by all that knew her. Susan is survived by two children, Katie Macary, and Michael Macary; two grandchildren, Nicholas and Alexander Macary; siblings, Virginia Leary, Robert Leary, Kevin Leary, and Cathleen Leary; several nieces and nephews and her beloved cat, Simba. Family and friends may call on Monday, July 22, 2019 from 5:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. A funeral Mass will be held on Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Peter and Paul Church (Mary, Mother of the Church Parish) 67 Southmayd Rd., Waterbury. Please meet directly at the church. Burial will be held privately.
