Waterbury- Mr. Teki Meka, 79, died Wednesday, October 8 at his home. He was the husband of Atze (Afezi) Meka.
Mr. Meka was born February 1, 1929 in Bilisht, Albania son of the late Qamil and Pembe (Mullaj) Meka. Mr. Meka immigrated to the United States with his wife and daughters in 1997. He was retired from High Tech Sintered Metals, Inc. of Naugatuck.
In addition to his wife he is survived by five daughters, Myxhyre Gishta of Waterbury, Lirije Zenuni of Albania, Haire Kolami of Waterbury, Vjosa Pasholli of Hempstead, NY and Entela Cela of Jacksonville, FL; one brother, Selami Meka of North Caldwell, NJ; two sisters, Pakize Terrolli of Garfield, NJ and Myzafer Xhaci of Albania; five grandchildren, Ali, Viola, Donald, Jonida and Dangles and several nephews and nieces.
Arrangements: Funeral services will be held on Friday, October 10 at 10:00 A.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main Street Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
