Waterbury – Mrs. Teresa (DeJesus) Vega, 70, passed away on Friday, October 21, at Vitas Innovative Hospice at St. Mary's Hospital. She was the widow of Andre Vega, Sr. who preceded her in death on October 15.

Teresa was born June 8, 1946 in Caguas, Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Eladio DeJesus and Angelina Sosa. She had been employed at Clark Brothers Bolt in Southington and had attended Scared Heart Sagrado Corazon Church. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and taking care of her plants.

She is survived by her children, Juan, Juanita, Jose, Jomarie and Jose A. Vega; her siblings, Maria, Pablo Sr, Guillermo and Geraldo DeJesus; her grandchildren, Angel, Jose, Andre, Gabriel and Joel Vega and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Andre Vega, Jr and her siblings, Margarita, Antonio, Jose M., Lydia E. and Carmelo.

Arrangements: Calling hours will be held today from 5:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday, October 24, at 10:00 A.M. at Sacred Heart Sagrado Corazon Church. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
