Waterbury- Unique Desiree Simms, 15, passed on Wednesday, August 1, 2012.
Unique attended Crosby High School where she was an honor student and a member of the Junior ROTC Program.
Unique Desiree Simms leaves behind her mother, Jennifer Ampier of Kissimmee, FL and her father Anton Simms of Waterbury.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Monday, August 6, from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. Burial will be private.
