Waterbury – Mr. Vasil Kalivjoti, 88, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, at his home. He was the husband of the late Valentina (Filovani) Kalivjoti.

Vasil was born August 25, 1934 in Korca, Albania, son of the late Theodore and Limjadha (Kotelli) Kalivjoti. He was a veteran of the Albania Army and immigrated to US in 1996. He loved by his family and friends, will be remembered as hard working and honest man. He had retired from Antonelli's Meat Market.

He is survived by his son, Stavri Kalivjoti and his wife Blerta of Waterbury; four nieces and six nephews.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 1, from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury. A Trisagion service will be held on Wednesday morning at 10:00 A.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in All Saints Cemetery.
