Waterbury - Mr. Victor manuel Torres, 93, passed away on Monday, June 7, at Vitas Innovative Hospice at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Julia William Torres. Victor was born December 21, 1921 in Rio Piedra, Puerto Rico, son of the late Miguel Angel Torres and Maria Christina Ortiz. In addition to his wife he is survived by his children, Victor Manuel Torres, Maria Amparo Torres, Ivelisse Torres-Ramirez, Miguel Angel Torres, Victor Antonio Torres, Elizabeth Mary Torres, Irma Magaly Marin, Victor David Torres and Marisol Torres; seventeen grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, June 9, from 5:00 P.M. to 9:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
