Waterbury – Mrs. Virginia Rediker, 92, passed peacefully on May 16, 2021 at Abbott Terrace. She was the widow of the late Donald Rediker. Virginia was the daughter of the late Mabel (Smart) and Lawrence Blanc. In Virginia's past time she enjoyed gardening, cooking, reading, and spending time with her loving family. Left to cherish her memory are her daughters, Donna Thurlow and Robin Giordano; her son Wayne Rediker; her sister Marcia Hotchkiss; granddaughter Sheila Thurlow; grandsons Joseph Giordano and Michael Giordano; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lawrence Blanc Jr., Raymond Blanc, Gene Blanc; and her sister Lillian Barrere. Calling hours are Thursday, May 20, 2021 from 11:00 A.M. to 12:30 P.M. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Watertown.
