Virginia Rosario, 87, passed away on Friday, January 27, 2017. She was born on November 12, 1929, in Manati, Puerto Rico, to the late Soterio Rosario and Edelmira Reyes. Being the independent woman she was, Virginia moved to Bronx, NY at the age of 26, and became successful in her career as a foreman. She was a strong spirited woman who was very loving, kind and happy. She treasured her relationships with her friends and family dearly, and will be missed deeply by all who knew her.

Left to cherish her memory is her 8 children; 23 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 3 great-great-grandchildren; and her extended family.

Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, February 1 from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. at Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main Street, Waterbury. A funeral home service will be held at 5 p.m. Burial will be private.
