Obituary
Vivian D. Castro, 49, of Meriden Rd., died at her home on May 27, 2008. Mrs. Castro was born in Waterbury, September 17, 1958, daughter of the late Edwin George and Irene (Oberstead) Lyons. She was the widow to John Castro Sr. Vivian was a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church of Waterbury and was self employed for many years as a Nurse's Aid.
She is survived by a son, John Castro Jr. of Waterbury, a daughter, Melissa Castro of Waterbury, three brothers, Doug Lyons of Waterbury, Steven Lyons of West Haven, Kenneth Lyons of Thomaston, a sister Sandra Febles of Waterbury, a grandson Vaughn Thomas Jr. two very close friends, Deborah Gesualdo and Gigi Patrizi. Vivian was predeceased by a brother, Edwin Lyons, two sisters, Laura Luth and Brenda Lyons.
Arrangements: A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 4:00 P.M. at Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Calling hours will follow until 8:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
