Obituary

Waterbury- Mr. William M. "Papa Bear" Legge, passed away on  Wednesday, February 29, at St. Mary's Hospital. He was the husband of Christine (LeBel) Legge and the son of the late William A. Legge and Lucy (D'Amico) Legge.

He was an employee of the City of Waterbury as a traffic signal technician, for nearly ten years, until the time of his death. As a licensed amateur radio operator, Bill enjoyed many hours talking to his "radio buddies" and will surely be missed. In addition to his wife of 22 years he is survived by his daughter, Kelly Sheldon and her husband Tim of Waterbury; his three step-sons Robert, Daniel and Jason; his brother Tom Legge and his wife Rose of Waterbury and several cousins.

Arrangements: A private service will be held at the Calvary Garden Mausoleum in Waterbury. There are no calling hours. Arrangements are in the care of the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. Waterbury.
