Naugatuck – Mr. William Daniel Luddy, Jr, 72, formerly of Waterbury, passed away at his home on Thursday, July 2. William was born September 10, 1947 in Waterbury, son of the late William D. and Marjorie (Watterworth) Luddy, Sr. Raised in Waterbury, he attended local schools, was a graduate of Kennedy High School and was the co-owner of the former B & R Trucking. He had served honorably in the United States Army and will be remembered for volunteering to the help the elderly, playing guitar and enjoying a game of pool and was a member of the Franco American Club. He is survived by his two sisters, Maureen K. Finnegan and her husband William of Waterbury and Marjorie M. Mann and her husband Jeffrey of Wolcott and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brother Richard G. Luddy. A graveside service with full military honors will be held at the Calvary Cemetery on Saturday, July 18, at 11:00 A.M.
