Obituary
Waterbury- Mr. William H. Matkin, Jr., 66, died Friday evening, February 25, at the Waterbury Hospital. He was the husband of Eleanor F. (Azukas) Matkin.
Mr. Matkin was born October 11, 1944 in Waterbury son of the late William H. "Tex" and Grace (Colella) Matkin, Sr. He was a graduate of Crosby High School and worked as a counterman for Shores Auto Parts for 19 years, as a machinist for Pratt and Whitney, for Sammons Cable for 19 years and retired from SPI Distribution of Waterbury as a truck driver.
In addition to his wife he is survived by one son, William Matkin of FL; one daughter, Michelle Matkin of FL; one step-son, Frank Murgatroy of Waterbury; three step-daughters, Julia Morelli, Dolores Shea and Frances Murgatroy all of Waterbury and two grandchildren, Cody Matkin and Virginia Murgatroy. He was predeceased by his sister Sharon Ricciardi.
