Southbury – William I. Overton, 85, died on Thursday, January 13, at his home. Billy was born April 1, 1936 in Waterbury, son of the late Parmienous and Edna (West) Overton. Billy will be remembered for his love of music, he played the harmonica and keyboard and was currently learning guitar. He enjoyed family outings and worked many jobs over the years at the training school. Billy is survived by many nieces and nephews. His siblings, Eunice Macary, Charles Overton, Robert Overton, Barbara Russell, Russell Overton, Sr and Jackie Overton, predeceased him. We give our sincere gratitude to the Southbury Training School for all the years of care and love. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, January 18 at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception. Burial will follow in Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
