Obituary
Waterbury- Mrs. Yvonne R. (Gagnon) Velazquez, 65, died Thursday, January 19, at the Waterbury Hospital. She was the wife of Ramon A. Velazquez.
Yvonne was born September 24, 1946 in Waterbury daughter of the late Armand and Veronica (Roy) Gagnon. She was a lifelong resident of Waterbury and had worked at Tyler Automatics in Thomaston. She will be remembered as a loving and devoted wife, mother and grandmother.
In addition to her husband of 40 years she is survived by two daughters, Sandra M. Velazquez of Mystic and Julie Velazquez of Waterbury; one brother Rene Gagnon of Waterbury; three grandchildren, Amaury Javier, Jr, Aramis Javier and Julissa Javier and several nieces and nephews.
Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Sunday, January 22, from 2:00 P.M. to 4:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St. A prayer service will be held at 4:00 P.M. Burial will be private.
