Oxford – Mr. Zaim Kica, 82, passed away at his home on Saturday, August 18. He was the husband of Misret (Qira) Kica. Mr. Kica was born December 19, 1935 in Veleshta, Macedonia, son of the late Aki and Ilmije (Doka) Kica. Zaim was an educator for five years in Macedonia and in 1970, he emigrated to the United States and was a self-employed property manager. His greatest joy was spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sons, Arben Kica; Luan Kica and his wife, Christine Kica, his daughter, Pranvera Veda Harris, and her husband, Michael Harris, all of Oxford, CT. He also leaves behind eight grandchildren, one brother, and five sisters. Funeral services were held on Monday, August 20th, at the Albanian Culture Center-Hasan Prishtina in Waterbury. Burial followed in the New Pine Grove Cemetery.
