Diogenes Diaz

Waterbury - Diogenes Diaz (also known as Radame) 71, passed away on Friday January 29, 2020 in Waterbury, CT.

Diogenes was born May 4, 1949 in Santiago, Dominican Republic, son of late Pablo Rodriguez and Obdulia Diaz. 

He will be remembered for his kindness, love of music and dance. He enjoyed playing pool and socializing with family and friends. Diogenes was passionate about the New York Yankees and “Las Aguilas” baseball team of the Dominican Republic. 

Diogenes is survived by his wife Cristiana Diaz, daughter Evelyn Diaz and grandson Terrance Stevens. 

In addition to his wife, he is survived by his sisters Josefina Nolasco, Yleana Sanchez, Sonia Diaz and Felicia Diaz. He now joins his brothers Rafael Diaz and Pablo Diaz. 

He will remain in the hearts of his family forever.

Arrangements: Calling hours will be held on Wednesday February 3, from noon until 2:00 PM at the Bergin Funeral Home, 290 East Main St., Waterbury. Burial will follow in New Pine Grove Cemetery.
