Waterbury – Donna Lyn (Ringquist) (DuBois) Anderson, 58, passed away on Sunday, May 7, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Donna was born April 16, 1959 in Waterbury, daughter of the late Gene F. Ringquist and the late Josephine Gelinas. Raised in New Britain she attended local schools and moved to Waterbury in her junior year of high school, graduating from Crosby High School, class of 1977. She had been employed for many years at Bradlees as a customer service manager. She enjoyed fishing and time with her family, most especially the special times with her grandson, who she adored.

She is survived by one son, James DuBois and his fiancé Lora McMahon of Waterbury; one daughter, Cherish Genova and her husband Mark of Bristol; her grandson, Jared DuBois; two brothers, Christopher Ringquist and his wife Lyn of Northfield and Charles “Chuck” Ringquist and his wife Kim of Southington; her step-father Andre Gelinas and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a daughter, Samantha J. Ferland and a brother, John Ringquist.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 11, at 8:00 P.M. at the Bergin Funeral Home 290 East Main St in Waterbury. Friends may call at the funeral home from 6:00 P.M. until time of service. Burial will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Donna’s name to the CT Humane Society 701 Russell Rd. Newington, CT 06111.
