Waterbury – Mr. Gerald R. Nole, Sr, 80, passed away on Wednesday, December 12, at Apple Rehabilitation in Watertown. He was the husband of the late Annette E. (Rankin) Nole.
Mr. Nole was born June 8, 1938 in Waterbury, son of the late Lucien and Lillian (DeVito) Nole. Raised in Waterbury he attended local schools and was a graduate of Crosby High School. He had served honorably in the United States Navy and the United States Army. He was the former owner of Nole Glass which was founded by his father Lucien and is currently run by his sons.
He is survived by three sons, Lucien F. Nole, III of Waterbury, James W. Nole, Sr and his wife Lena of Watertown and Gerald R. Nole, Jr of FL; one daughter, Michelle Nole Carvalho and her husband Arcilio of Waterbury; three grandchildren, Danielle Perugini, James W. Nole, Jr and Milena Nole; one great granddaughter, Nyla Stallings and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister, Gloria Marino.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, December 15, at 10:00 A.M. at St. Francis Xavier Church. Friends may call at the funeral home on Saturday morning from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. Burial with full military honors will be held in Mt. Olivet cemetery in Watertown.
