Waterbury – Mrs. Nancy J. (Covillion) Sterling - Zambrano, 65, passed away on Monday, May 22, at Waterbury Hospital surrounded by her loving family and friends. She was the beloved wife of Jaime Zambrano.
Nancy was born June 4, 1957 in Springfield, VT, daughter of the late Joseph E. and Edith J. (Daudelin) Covillion. Nancy was a bookkeeper throughout her career, retiring form the Seven Angels Theater. She will be remembered for her love playing card games, board games, reading and building Lego creations with her grandchildren and nieces and nephews and their children.
In addition to her husband she is survived by her step-daughters, Jacqueline Rodriguez of Naugatuck and Joanne Zambrano of Waterbury; two brothers, Robert Covillion of New London and Joseph Covillion of Wilmington, NC; 4 step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Waterbury Hospital for the loving care they provided to Nancy.
Service and burial in Vermont are private.
