Mr Richard L. Chambers

Oakville – Mr. Richard L. “Rick” Chambers, 73, passed away on Wednesday, August 14. He was the husband of Virginia (Losee) Chambers.

Rick was born in Waterbury on June 15, 1946, son of the late Dorothy (Parker) and John G. Chambers. He had served honorably in the U.S. Navy from August 17, 1965 until his discharge on July 15, 1969. He had been employed at Pik-Kwik Stores and retired from the US Postal Service. He was a member of the VFW Post 7330 in Oakville and the American legion Post 195 in Oakville.

In addition to his wife he leaves many nieces, nephews and friends. He was predeceased by his sister Nancy Beausoleil and his brother John Chambers.

Burial with full military honors will be private in the Northfield Cemetery.
