Ms Victoria Germaine Sabelli

Bristol – Victoria Germaine Sabelli, 72, passed away on Tuesday, August 8, at the Hartford Hospital.

Victoria was born December 14, 1950 in Boston, MA, daughter of the late Anthony and Gloria (DuMont) Sabelli. She received her Bachelor’s in English Literature from Bard College, and two Master’s, in Education and in Special Education, both from Lesley College in Cambridge, MA. She was an educator her entire career. She taught in many local areas including Waterbury, ACES in North Haven, and Bridgeport.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Sabelli; two brothers, John Sabelli and Robert Sabelli; one sister, Sister Mary Veronica Sabelli; one grandson, Luke Anthony Sabelli and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She was predeceased by her sister, Deborah Sabelli.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, August 12, at 10:00 A.M. at the Basilica of the Immaculate Conception 74 West Main St. Waterbury. Friends may visit with her family from 8:30 A.M. until 9:30 A.M. at Bergin Funeral Home, Waterbury. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
