I would like to express deepest condolences to the family of Martina Rivera. It seems we have our loved ones for only a short time and then they are gone. Nothing can replace them and we appreciate them more than ever, wanting to preserve our precious memories of them forever. Our Heavenly Father feels our deep pain and has determined to do something about it. First,he has left for us to read a most comforting letter as it were. That letter contains warm promises of God's desire to eliminate death entirely. That "letter", the Bible makes that statement throughout it's many pages. For instance I am overwhelmed at the account found in the Gospel of John and chapter eleven. Jesus had just lost a dear friend in death, named Lazarus who had been dead for Four days. You would think "well he is gone, there is no hope". However God had something in mind
And he allowed Jesus to resurrect , or bring back to life Lazarus. Throughout the Bible there are some Nine recorded resurrections. They are there not to entertain us but to assure us of God's desire and ability to eliminate death. The last book of the bible,Revelation chapter twenty one, verses three and four is worth reading since it paints a beautiful picture of God's very precious and sure promises. I encourage you to read this portion of our "letter" from God and may the family and friends of Martina be comforted.

In loving memory of Martina River, I am blessed to have met her once and was able to experience what a servants heart she had for the Lord. I was at a sisterhood event while she was visiting her son anival, the whole time she prepared coffe, cooked food, served us and cleaned up after us with a huge smile. It was her smile and the care she took that i remember this day. I remember even tho she was up serving and working for the Lord, her ears were attentive to the Lords word that was being shared. I remember knowing that day she had JOY, true joy to be visiting her son And serving his friends as we plunged forward towards God. She was a servant and her son is a servant of God, it's a loss for this world, but a gain in heavens home. My prayers to her family during this time of loss. Praying Gids peace comfort you knowing that eternal life promises you to be with her again one day. God bless, Katrina Hilton family in Christ
