We are so sorry to hear about you great loss , in Maria you have lost a mother,a sister grandmother, someone dearly loved. How can you fill such a void? No one can replace her. Is it possible for us to gain real comfort in this sad moment? It truly is and it comes from the highest source, our creator. One Bible writer referred to him as "the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials". So what specific comfort can God offer us when we lose a loved one? Jesus referred to it when with complete confidence he spoke about the resurrection of the dead. His words are found in the Gospel by John chapter 5 and verses 28,29. Would you please find some time to read this? You will be comforted by what you read. You have the unique opportunity to be reunited with you loved ones in better times. Of course you may have other questions, such as why do we get sick grow old and die. The Bible answers such questions take some time to search
